First a little about the SEIKO TMI
In watchmaking, having the best movement is essential. Why? It is because a movement is the watch’s engine and it defines its durability and stability in the long run. Excellent craftsmanship plays a great factor in every watch brand and Earhart is no exception. And that is why Earhart Watches utilize some of the best known Japanese Seiko movements – the Seiko NH35, NH38 and NH34
So why a Japanese movement?
A Japanese automatic movement such as the Seiko NH series is Japan’s counterpart for a Swiss movement. The mechanism is quite comparable to Swiss quality in terms of accuracy and precision. Furthermore, a Japanese automatic movement is available at a good price point without compromising its performance.
For years, the NH series have become one of the most respected automatic movements in the watch industry. We always live up to our brand values and using a fine mechanism is our way to uphold Earhart as the luxury watches for all. We choose these movements because of their durability and consistency.
Most watches are fitted with a screwdown crown for extra security and protection from water and dust.
Turning the crown in a counterclockwise direction will allow you to release it and set the time and date (see manual). To secure it back in, press the spring loaded crown against the case, while turning it clockwise
Earhart watches come with stardard water resistance testing with several ratings depending on the model. For example our divers have a 200m water resistance. To understand what that means and usage guide, we recommend the following article.
